Context

VIPONSSI is a founder-led fashion label with a raw, image-first visual direction. The brief was not to decorate a standard shop. It was to build a digital world with enough personality to carry the brand while keeping the work easy to explore.

The problem

Most fashion templates make the clothes fit the store. This project needed the store to fit the clothes, without sacrificing clarity, responsive use or the founder’s ability to update it later.

Constraints

  • Strong art direction still has to support navigation and readability
  • Final photography, product information and brand copy are still being supplied
  • The structure needs to grow into lookbook, catalogue and commerce journeys
  • The production build must remain maintainable after handover

Key decisions

Make the interface part of the brand

Camera language, framing, type and pacing are treated as brand material rather than decoration added at the end.

Test the boldest interaction first

The camera-led concept was built as a working experience before the rest of the production system was committed.

Rebuild it for ownership

The approved direction is being translated into a maintainable structure so the founder can update content without depending on the studio for every small change.

Wait for the real material

The final experience will be completed around genuine photography, copy and catalogue decisions rather than placeholder assumptions.

Evidence so far

Evidence being collected

  • Evidence being collected. The main camera-led interface and responsive visual direction can be experienced in a working preview.
  • Production foundation. The route and content structure is in place for final brand assets and a future commerce connection.

Where it stands

A working visual prototype and production route foundation exist. The project is waiting on final photography, copy and catalogue decisions before the content and commerce stages are completed.

Next move: Complete the content with the founder, test the final assets across screen sizes, then connect the chosen commerce flow and prepare the launch.
