Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Streetline Studio collects through this website, why it is collected, and the choices you have. Timothy Arole trading as Streetline Studio is the data controller for this information.
Scope
This notice covers the Streetline Studio marketing website and its project-enquiry form. A project preview linked from the portfolio is a separate product or client project. If a preview collects personal data, it must show its own specific privacy information before it is used publicly.
What is collected
When you submit the enquiry form, Streetline collects the details you provide:
- Your name, work email and (optionally) phone and job title
- Your business or organisation and website
- The problem or opportunity you describe, the type of help, budget band and timing
- Any optional context you add
- Limited, non-identifying source information (e.g. UTM campaign tags and referring site)
- A timestamp recording your consent to be contacted
Why it is processed
Streetline uses enquiry information to understand the problem, respond to you and, where appropriate, prepare a relevant reply or proposal. The lawful basis is Streetline’s legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. The form’s agreement checkbox records that you expect Streetline to use the submitted details for that purpose; it is not used to add you to unrelated marketing.
Who processes it
Streetline uses trusted providers to operate the enquiry process:
- Netlify — website hosting and form processing. Netlify form notifications may send an alert to Streetline if they are configured.
Analytics
At present, the public website does not load a third-party analytics service. It contains first-party event hooks that only place non-identifying event names into a browser data layer if an analytics service is configured later. Streetline will update this notice before enabling any such service. Analytics events never include your name, email, phone or the free-text of your enquiry.
International transfers
Netlify may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, Streetline relies on the safeguards Netlify makes available for its service.
Retention
Streetline keeps an enquiry while it is active and then reviews it within 24 months of the last meaningful contact. It is then deleted or anonymised unless it is needed for an ongoing client relationship, to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your information. You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests, including Streetline’s use of your enquiry to respond to you. Email Streetline to make a request.
Automated decisions
Streetline does not make decisions about you solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Providing information
The fields marked as required are needed to review and respond to an enquiry. If you do not provide them, Streetline may not be able to respond. All other fields are optional.
Security and its limits
Streetline takes reasonable measures to protect your information, including server-side validation and not exposing credentials in the browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
